Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer in Australia.  Statistics shows that 2 in 3 Australians will be diagnosed with skin cancer by the age of 70.  So it's extremely important that everyone protects their skin from the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) radiation to prevent skin cancer from developing.

The other thing about skin cancer is that whilst it can be deadly, it can also be successfully treated if found early, so we strongly recommend having a skin check by your GP on a regular basis.

You can book your skin cancer check online here

The out of pocket cost of a skin cancer check is $30 to $65 depending on the duration and complexity of the check.  Pensioners are bulk billed.
